The job
The tenant had moved out of a one-bedroom apartment in central Takapuna. The kitchen had a heavy build-up of grease on the range hood and in the oven, and there was mould in the shower area.
Small apartment kitchens and bathrooms are used every day, so grease and mould build up faster than in a larger house.
Addresses and names are kept private. Photos are from our own job report.
What we did
Kitchen
Range hood degreased, oven cleaned inside, benches and cupboards wiped down.
Fridge
Cleaned inside and out, and the build-up behind and under it removed.
Shower
Mould treated in the shower area, including the shelves and corners.
Report
Earlier wall damage in the bedroom and shower recorded as pre-existing, with photos.

The apartment was ready for the final inspection.
The photo report was sent to the property manager when the job was finished.
Wall damage that was already there was clearly separated from the cleaning result, so the clean was not blamed for it.
