Why mould keeps coming back
Auckland winters are damp, and mould on bedroom and bathroom ceilings is one of the most common problems in rentals. It often has to be treated between tenancies, before the next tenant moves in.
Cleaning removes the mould you can see, but it comes back if the moisture stays: washing dried indoors, condensation on windows, or an extractor fan that is missing, blocked or not used.
If we see a likely cause while we work, such as a leak or a fan that does not work, it goes in the report with photos, so it can be fixed and the mould does not return as quickly.

Common questions
How much does mould removal cost?
It depends on how many rooms are affected and how far the mould has spread. Send a few photos and we will give you a fixed price.
Do you wear protective gear?
Yes. The team wears protective suits, masks and gloves on every mould job.
Will the mould come back?
It can, if the moisture that caused it stays. We note likely causes, such as leaks or extractor fans that do not work, in the report so they can be fixed.
Can you repaint the ceiling afterwards?
Yes. If treatment leaves staining or the paint is damaged, our painting team can repaint in a follow-up visit.
Can you do it between tenancies?
Yes. Mould treatment is often booked together with an end of tenancy clean, so the property is ready for the next tenant in one go.
“Both were fantastic… They were both efficient and professional, I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I’m very happy with the result — my place looked and felt fresh and spotless.”
“Our shower area had a lot of hard water stains, and the toilet had built-up yellow stains that were hard to remove. But their team cleaned everything thoroughly — now the tiles, glass, and even the toilet look like new.”
“Their team was professional, efficient, and extremely detail-oriented—they cleaned every area of the house to perfection. The results exceeded my expectations, leaving the property spotless.”
